HOW TO GROW GREAT PEOPLE - NJEGOS FOR CHILDREN (2013)

Picture
The How to grow great people show promotes the idea that only a strong inner drive, constant work, support from the environment and being a master of your own fate and dreams can lead to becoming a great human. Even though it remains one of the more cheerful productions for children that presents an embellished and peaceful image of the world and avoids dark and painful subjects, this show still successfully manages to achieve a sensible balance, avoiding patronizing tones and imposing any opinions or attitudes. It is inviting us to resist the prevalent mythomaniac image of Montenegro and Montenegrinness, using well – meaning irony in order to expose things for what they really are, without any compromises or condescending tone. The significance of this multi – layered show is in its aim to provide guidance in life, culture and theatre work to children, grown – ups and theatre professionals alike.
