Kotor Festival of Theatre for Children has decided to take you on a new adventure. After last year’s incredible journey around the world – for our 27th edition, we decided that not even the sky is the limit. So, prepare yourself for a brand new mission: A TRIP TO THE MOON! We found inspiration in the works of Jules Verne, Herbert George Wells, Georges Méliès, Branko Ćopić, as well as the 50th anniversary of the first man landing on the Moon.

On the mission A TRIP TO THE MOON, in the Theatre Program of 27th KFTC, our fellow astronauts from 20 theatres, with 16 theatre shows, will join us. Who they are and which shows they will perform, see below. ​

KFTC has confirmed its quality once again by receiving the EFFE label for the next two years.

The first of EFFE’s initiatives is the quality label. The EFFE Label is Europe’s quality stamp for remarkable arts festivals showing their engagement in the field of the arts, community involvement and international openness.

KFTC received the EFFE label of quality for the first time two years ago, when our application was approved by the International Jury, after a successful evaluation by a team of experts.

The call is open for drama studios, high school drama sections, amateur grops (whose members are under 27 years of age), and professional drama groups whose performances deal with subject suitable for youth.

Deadline: All applications must be submitted by March 1st, 2019, at the latest. Late applications will not be considered.

On July 12, at 9 p.m. on the Summer Stage, 26th edition of Kotor Festival officially closed. The awards were presented to the best, based on opinions of the Children's jury, Town Jury, and the Expert Jury.
