Kotor Festival of Theatre for Children Foundation announces the Call for entries for participation in the SIDE PROGRAM of the 29th Kotor Festival of Theatre for Children, which will be held 1-12 July, 2021.
The Call is split into two categories:
1. CHILDREN’S PERFORMING ARTS
The call is open to troupes that are working in the field of performing arts, and whose performers are children or young people (dance, acting, performance, ballet...)
The main criterion for selection is the artistic quality of the program. The Editorial Board of the Festival decides on the quality and selection of the program.
2. EDUCATIONAL AND CREATIVE ARTS FOR CHILDREN, divided into:
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM
The call is open to prominent professionals who want to pass on their knowledge and experience to children through educational workshops.
LITERARY PROGRAM
The call is open to individuals up to 18 years of age, who are writing and publishing their work, and also to prominent writers for children and young people.
VISUAL ARTS PROGRAM
The following can apply for the call:
visual art schools and visual art communities – exhibiting children's work;
individuals up to 18 years of age, creating in the field of visual arts;
professional artists, exhibiting work intended or suitable for children.
MUSIC PROGRAM
The following can apply for the call:
musical ensembles whose performers are children (choir, band, orchestra...);
children soloists;
professional music ensembles who are performing music for children.
The basic criteria for selection of visual art, literary programs and workshops is their program, artistic quality, amount of innovation and interest in new topics.
To those who pass the selection, Kotor Festival of Theatre for Children Foundation will provide technical support, working space, promotion and support during the program.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Applications should be sent no later than May 1, 2021.
Information acquired from the application form will be used for the participants selection, as well as for the purpose of creating the Festival catalog. The enclosed materials remain in the archives of the Festival.
The selection results will be published on the Festival website no later than May 15, 2021.
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications should be sent ONLY via the form found on the link below.
