Another year that will be marked by the most wonderful summer festival in Europe, and certainly more widely still. Traditionally, from July 1 - 12, Kotor Festival of Theatre for children brings together all the theater viewers and connoisseurs, both big and small, and takes them to an unforgettable adventure through the town of Kotor.
This year, our mission is to, besides Kotor, Europe, world, universe, conquer the Moon, with our imagination, and on this trip, Dybwikdans and Dansens Hus from Norway will join us.
Lulla presents a world of song, movement and music, and shows us lullabies in new and traditional forms. Lulla is a musical encounter that is open to participation of children and adults, on their own terms. Lulla does not tell a precise story; instead, it uses nursery rhymes to invite physical and musical interaction with the audience, and makes presence, listening and play vital elements in the encounter. Lulla explores an expression that arises in its entirety in the stage space where the artists, the children and the adults constitute the artistic and social totality. An open and inviting form, characterized by sound and movement, has the goal to achieve dialogue and interaction with children. This show for babies is a concept by Siri Dybwik and the performers are Gerd Elin Aase, Nils Christian Fossdal.
Dear parents, bring your smallest ones to this show and sail away with them in the magic of lullabies. The show will be performed on Thursday, July 4, at 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. in Nikola Đurković Cultural Centre. Around 30 minutes long, Lulla is a show intended for babies from 0 till 18 months old. Our dear astronauts, in love with the theater and the world of play and art, join us to enjoy Kotor Festival of Theatre for Children again this summer and to take a trip to the Moon together!
