It was a festive day full of laughter, playful hearts, games and hubbub on the third day of the 31st Kotor Festival of Theatre for Children.

The play Mulan performed by the Theatre for Youth and Children Kragujevac gathered children of various ages on a full Summer Stage, and with a story of courage, diversity and belonging, reminded us all how wars are senseless, and how essential it is to cherish the inner world to overcome external challenges.

The first Literary Night of the Festival called Fantastic People of Kotor – Promotion of Regional Literary Fiction Festival ''Refesticon'' took place at Cinema Square.

Kids from NGO ''Children of Tivat'' and Children's Alliance Podgorica showed us at the Square of Arms what happens When Wings Grow Out, with an eponymous dance, music and acting performance.

We continue today with the programme and expect equal enthusiasm and looking forward to what awaits us!

There will be two time slots, from 10 to 12h, and from 14 to 16h, in the ''Nikola Djurkovic'' Cultural Centre for the play Fields of Tender, a project by Dalija Acin Thelander. The play is intended for babies between the ages of three and 18 months, and there can only be 10 babies (and 10 parents) in the audience at the same time.

On the Summer Stage, at 21:30h, the play Agi and Ema (age 7+) of the City Theatre Becej from Serbia will tell us the story of an unusual boy and his imaginary friend.

Playful children from Public Preschool Institution ''Joy'' Kotor, will sing and dance in the Square of Arms at 20h tonight, and send a clear message to everyone – Let Children Teach You How to Love, with an eponymous performance.

Let us remind you that the Kotor Festival of Theatre for Children is organised by the Municipality of Kotor – Secretariat of Culture, Sports and Social Activities.

The Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro is its patron.

The High Patron is Montenegro's President Jakov Milatovic.

The Golden Sponsor of the Festival is Domaca trgovina D.O.O. Podgorica (Aroma and Conto markets).

Port of Kotor AD is a Silver Sponsor.

The Festival is sponsored by: Tourism Organisation of Kotor, Kotor souvenir shop, Ledo DOO, Neregelia DOO, Voli DOO, Hayat Regency Kotor Bay Resort, Knjaz Milos Montenegro i Castel DOO – Hotel Restoran Conte Perast.

Welcome to Kotor, a town which from July 2 -12 inspires us the most with its bright colours, new experiences, bunch of creativity and games and brings the purest energy – the one that moves us especially in the days when ''the town is in the hands of our little ones''!!!
